The end is near

There is now less than 48 hours until we get all our stuff packed in cars and minibusses and sets of for Fiskeboda. The ashes of Eyjafjallajökull have thrown some of our and your plans overboard but we hope to get as many as possible on board for our journey towards the inevitable end. To make sure most of you get there and with the right equipment we will  emphasize a few things.

How to get there

If you have signed up for the bus or if you want to take your chances and try to get a seat for SEK 300 in cash by the bus you need to know that i leaves from Stockholm City Terminal at 16.00 on Thursday. If you have paid during the last week please bring a receipt from your bank or you might have to pay again.

How to get some sleep

Fiskeboda has hostel standard so you need to bring your own sheets or a sleepring bag. Those of you who have booked a hotel room can disregard this.

How to get signed up for items

We will close the pre sign up for items in the programme tomorrow, wednesday, at 11.00. The sign up will reopen offline at Fiskeboda on thursday. If you wish to sign up to an item in the programme please do so at in the programme schedule.

Can I get a refund if I can not come

Regarding cancellations we have previously stated, on the website, that we do not refund any paid attendance fees after 2010-03-15. This is because we will have to pay Fiskeboda for food and lodging anyway. Every participant at Knutpunkt costs more than the fee of SEK 1200 an if we would give any refunds we would have to cover that with increased fees for the other participants. All that said, this is a special circumstance and we will have to monitor how many of our participants we will loose because of this and if we can strike a deal with Fiskeboda about it. But at this time the previous statement holds, we can not refund any part of the participant fee.

If you have any friend or other who might like to take your seat at Knutpunkt 2010 we are more than happy to have them. Please send us an email if you and your friend want to do this and we will help you.

What about lost items in the programme

The items of the programme that are hosted by someone who is not attending Knutpunkt any more will be left as items on the website but will be removed from the schedule. If you wish to take care of a cancelled item please contact us about it.
